Long regarded as a rising star of British blues guitar in the tradition of Eric Clapton and Peter Green, Connor Selby has now well and truly arrived. Having performed at Wembley Stadium with his band at the behest of The Who, he’s since played Hyde Park alongside Pearl Jam, Stereophonics, and Johnny Marr.
Voted Young Artist of the Year at the UK Blues Awards in 2020, 2021, and 2022, and Traditional Blues Artist of the Year in 2025 and 2026, the young bandleader, guitarist, and vocalist draws on influences as diverse as B.B. King, Ray Charles, Free, and Van Morrison. He creates a soulful blend of hard-hitting blues and emotional, introspective songwriting that, at times, evokes a modern take on the best of the music that inspires him.
In 2022, Connor signed to Provogue Records, the blues leg of the Mascot Label Group. His inclusion in a roster featuring some of the most prominent blues artists of the 21st century, including Joe Bonamassa, Eric Gales, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, solidifies his position as one of the brightest young talents in blues.
