Rapidly establishing themselves as one of the must-see live bands in the UK, GETNOTGOT create musical landscapes that are fused in the Blue Note heritage with contemporary acid-jazz nuances and a funk-fuelled musical energy.
Their debut release came in the form of a 4-track EP in January 2023, and was followed by plenty of interest from music festivals and jazz clubs. The band’s follow-up EP, Pull To Open, was released in June 2024 to critical acclaim.
This EP presents the quintet’s first collection of original tunes - reflecting the development of the band over the last two years, whilst retaining the influences of the past masters of the soul jazz and acid jazz movements.
