Guitarist Joseph Leighton is recognized as one of Ireland’s brightest new jazz talents.
Starting as a teenage rock guitarist in Derry, he soon transitioned to jazz, studying with icons like Jesse van Ruller, Mike Walker, and Peter Bernstein. Joseph has toured extensively, performing in Vietnam, Singapore, Lebanon, and Jamaica, and has performed on stage with musicians like Rufus Reid, Sun-Mi Hong, Darren Beckett, Matthew Halpin, Sasha Berliner and many more.
His quartet will be playing music from their new album which brings an energetic and dynamic sound that combines their many shared interests and influences in music.
