We’re excited to welcome Migration Project to the Bear to celebrate the launch of their new album, Skyline.
The versatile London-based jazz drummer Gaetano Di Giacomo formed Migration Project in 2018 with the highly respected and talented musicians Riley Stone-Lonergan (sax), Marco Marconi (piano) and Tom Farmer (double bass).
In the early part of his career, Gaetano cut his teeth working on the jazz and pop scene, travelling extensively and performing at festivals and venues across the world. It wasn't long before he attracted the attention of the UK jazz scene's top players, and he takes an active role in many aspects of the London jazz scene.
His receptiveness to all styles of music, combined with a deep knowledge of the roots of jazz, his dynamics and his attention to interplay with other musicians, makes him one of the most interesting drummers in London today.
