NW FRQNC ft. SELINA ALBRIGHT

Selina Albirght is a Los Angeles-born independent singer, songwriter, and vocalist now based in London. She’s known for her soulful voice, wide vocal range, and versatile style that blends R&B, soul, jazz, and contemporary influences.

As the daughter of Grammy-nominated saxophonist Gerald Albright, Selina was exposed to professional music and influential artists at a very early age.

Her sound is rooted in jazz and soul but expands across genres, with vocal influences from artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, and Dinah Washington, contributing to her dynamic and emotive delivery.

NW FRQNC (pronounced New Frequency) is a new project combining elements of the Dutch funk/acid jazz band The Pact, Italy’s world-renowned saxophonist Gianni Vancini and Selina’s powerhouse vocals.

They first performed on stage together in 2019 and they have their debut album due for release in 2026.

The new album will consist of groove-driven songs, contemporary jazz infused songs and some beautiful power ballads.

Having played several jazz festivals, NW FRQNCis quickly building a buzz and a track record of turning a concert into a roaring party.

Led by the charismatic Albright and backed by an awesome band, flavoured by uber-talented saxophonist Gianni Vancini, NW FRQNC conclude our series of Soulful Sundays in style.

DJ sets from Richie Tee and one more TBC.

An exceptional and multifaceted artist, Selina is a force to be reckoned with.
