Travelling troubadour Sorrel Nation brings a blend of folk-rock and country, captivating audiences with her emotive lyrics, 70s-inspired style, and a voice that’s both pure and full of soul.
2025 was a breakthrough year for Sorrel, as she toured extensively following the release of her delicate live EP Thirty Summers and her critically acclaimed debut studio album Lost En Route. She performed at major festivals including Black Deer, Isle of Wight, and Cambridge Folk Festival, and her show here last May was a particular highlight.
In September 2025, she released Live and Acoustic, a live EP recorded in Scotland that captures the beauty of her voice and the warmth of her connection with the audience. She’s fast becoming a real star of the roots music circuit.
Support is from multi-instrumentalist Rachael Sage, who has released over 20 self-produced albums and EPs, and shared stages with Imelda May, Rufus Wainwright, Jamie Cullum, and Judy Collins. Her latest album, Canopy, was released last October, and a companion acoustic album, Under My Canopy, is due in spring 2026.
“If this was the start, the endpoint will be something else. The journey in-between will likely be one not to miss”
“Very reminiscent of Stevie Nicks I thought, which is probably the highest praise I could give”
“Sorrel’s voice is off the scale stunning”
