SUNSINGER & THE HIGH SEAS + DAN RAZA

We welcome Sunsinger & the High Seas and Dan Raza back to The Bear for an exciting double-bill.

Sunsinger & the High Seas

Simon Gutteridge, aka Sunsinger, is a Bedfordshire-based songwriter. Whether performing solo or as a duo, or with band the High Seas, expect alt-country, folk and Americana-tinged songs with a hint of pop, packed full of catchy melodies and soaring choruses, sung with a whole lot of heart.

Notable support slots include: Ian McCulloch (Echo & the Bunnymen), Bryde, Tom Grennan, China Crisis, Big Country, The South (former members of The Beautiful South), Dr Feelgood, The Wedding Present, Tom Hingley and Mark Chadwick (The Levellers), among others.

Sunsinger & the High Seas get their Americana wagon rolling as Gutteridge’s pitch perfect vocal fills the courtyard...

Dan Raza

Praised by artists such as Chris Farlowe and Joan Armatrading, Dan Raza’s songs have won him a loyal following across the UK and abroad - and even led Neil Young to include the track Every Little Dog on his Living With War website.

Born in Bedfordshire of mixed Indian and British origin, Dan moved to London in his late teens, where he has since been based.

His debut album, produced by Charlie Hart (Ronnie Lane, Eric Clapton) came out in 2012 and was distributed by Cargo Records. 2022 will see the release of his long-awaited, as-yet untitled, third record.
