Dylan LeBlanc is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who (for those who don’t know his music) plays hauntingly atmospheric Americana.
Coming from a French and Cajun background, he grew up living what he has called a “vagabond life” between Texas, New Orleans and Muscle Shoals, Alabama . He often finds himself flirting with the edge or “dancing on a razor,” as he calls it, as it is all he has ever known.
It is that nomadic spirit that drew him not only to a life as a touring musician, but also to the subject of his newest record: ‘Coyote’ which came out to rave reviews a couple of years ago.
A renowned story-teller, a fine songwriter and an awesome guitar player we are thrilled to welcome Dylan to The Bear Club.
“Very much a Southern Gothic mood piece, drawing on such antecedents as Badlands, Wild At Heart, the writings of James Sallis and Cormac McCarthy, the music of Neil Young and Chris Isaak, LeBlanc has crafted a sparse, cinematic vision of an American dystopia.”
“It deserves a place amongst the line-up of classic Americana albums.”
“Superb…”
