GABRIEL LATCHIN TRIO

© Eddie Aidoo

British pianist and composer Gabriel Latchin has made a name for himself as one of the UK’s finest musicians. Known for his effortlessly swinging feel and compelling performances, he has been praised internationally by critics and world-renowned musicians alike.

Now a major highlight on the UK jazz scene, The Gabriel Latchin Trio draws inspiration from Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, and Herbie Hancock. This performance will pay tribute to the music of the pre-eminent American composer George Gershwin. The trio’s fifth record, The Man I Love, features new arrangements of all-Gershwin favourites, including "Summertime", "Someone to Watch Over Me", and "I Got Rhythm."

With thousands of albums sold and over 40 million streams, Gabriel’s international presence is rapidly growing. Recently awarded four stars in Jazzwise, The Times, and The Guardian, the trio has also been featured in Downbeat (USA) and Jazz Japan.

Featuring Gabriel Latchin (piano), Jeremy Brown (bass), and Josh Morrison (drums).

For my money, London-born Gabriel Latchin is the finest straight-ahead jazz pianist to appear in the past few years

Smartly presented music, the sound superb, the trio on top form... don’t miss them
