The Gerry Jablonski Band is an internationally acclaimed blues-rock outfit charging into 2026 with a new weapon in their arsenal: frontman and powerhouse vocalist Nicky Aiken.
A familiar face on the Aberdeen music scene and a former Royal Marine Commando, Nicky traded military tours for international music tours when he joined the band full-time, following a standout guest performance at their Aberdeen show last September, where sparks flew and the chemistry was undeniable.
Since then, the new lineup has hit the road hard, touring the UK and Europe, recording new material, and making an explosive appearance at Roanne Blues Festival in France. Their signature blend of heavy riffs, searing harp, and blues-infused rock continues to evolve, with the addition of rich vocal harmonies and a rejuvenated sound thanks to Nicky's dynamic voice.
One of Scotland's must-see live acts, the band delivers explosive, high-energy shows wrapped in gritty blues power. And they still offer their trademark challenge: if you don't enjoy the show, tell them afterwards, and they'll give you your money back - honest!
“Everything you need to know about the healthy state of Scotland’s blues scene in general is in this superb album…”
“Akin to jumping into an ice bath straight from the sauna... the power, the pace, the sheer bloody commitment is not advised for those with a weak heart!”
