Hertfordshire-based folk and acoustic singer-songwriter Steve Warner returns to The Bear Club with his self-penned songs on tenor guitar.
After playing bass in 90s rock bands, Steve discovered folk music later in life and immediately felt at home within the community. The storytelling, songwriting, energy, and passion of fellow musicians playing together lit a spark that has never left him.
He’s joined by Julie Simpson, a Scottish folk singer-songwriter from Shefford. Julie performs around Hertfordshire and, while particularly known for her covers of Kate Bush, Simon & Garfunkel, and Tracy Chapman, is also an accomplished songwriter in her own right.
These two fine players will showcase their own material—solo and together as a duo.
