The Deadlians are an absolutely phenomenal Dublin based band with a cult following who play a heady mix of folk songs and punk rock with a touch of psychedelia tying it all together.
With thumping drums, a humming synth, evocative guitars and bucket loads of inventive vocal ornamentation, The Deadlians really come together in the catchiness of their arrangements.
They are looking to create their own identity in the alternative folk music scene and their sound evokes a faintly darker edge to the new generation of Irish alternative trad/folk groups performing today.
Led by Dublin man Sean Fitzgerald, singer, balladeer, songwriter, poet, storyteller and musician, The Deadlians started in 2019 as a four piece and are now a fully-fledged Irish trad-psych-punk rock five-piece.
