We’re delighted to welcome The Soul Music Collective back to The Bear Club by popular demand, following their sold-out gig last August.
This local band brings over 40 years of combined musical experience. Individually, they’ve performed on radio and TV, and shared stages with soul and gospel artists around the world.
It’s a family affair: bandleader and bassist Kevin Simpson is married to singer Elaine, and his sister Sonia is the other vocalist.
They celebrate soul music from its classic era, especially the timeless sounds of Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder. With over 40 songs in their repertoire, there’s definitely something for you to sing and dance along to.
